where do i place custom skins

Not in your resource folder!
Place new terrorist skins here -> \Valve\Steam\SteamApps\YOURNAME\counter-strike source\cstrike\materials\Models\Player\terror
Place new Counter terrorist skins here -> \Valve\Steam\SteamApps\YOURNAME\counter-strike source\cstrike\materials\Models\Player\urban

If the folders are not there create them.

no, steam skins go in resource.. sounds go in sounds/weapons/ etc...

anyways.. the weapon skin structures are a bit more complicated.. what skin in particular?
