Where do you work?

I ref hockey.

Not a career, but a "job"

I'm a detailer at a car dealership, not a horrible job for a 17 year old.

I work at my college in the Information Systems Dept.

I got fired from my job at the movie theater, and I can't go back for 6 months. I don't plan on getting another job, because any job I can get right now would probably have me dealing with some form of a "customer" and they are all annoying assholes. Also the managers at all those places are community college drop outs, and I shouldn't be taking advice/orders from someone less qualafied than me.

I work in a used book store.....The Wee Book Inn.

i train people at the climbing gym

right now, a furniture place.

i have been a donut and coffee guy, and i have developed photos at a photo lab. the assholes at my job just fired my manager who was ****ing cool as hell, when he gets another job ill probably follow him there.

Im a lvl 20 Paladin on WoW atm.
Its a full time job.

hmm... i used to go to "work" once when i was 14 at a power plant.

Game designer/modeller

I am the guy that puts the jam into doughnuts.

weather permitting I should be a full-blown architect by March. :smoking:

now I'm just a simple freelance designer/3dartist

im gonna go to the police academy once i graduate highschool.

I'm a student at Reading uni and don't have a job at the moment, but right now i want a bl*w-job. :p

Do you work for any specific company or do you just freelance type of thing?

Im really intrested in maybe going to college for game designing but ive heard it is very hard work creating games, with crunch time and that whole thing. (Plus all the EA complaints for employees ive heard doesnt make the industry sound appealing). And ive just read an article in one of my magazines about how it can be very difficult, and many game designers spend more time making them than playing them. They say you have to "Really, really, really, like game designing..."

Anyway im just curious about it.

I work for a specific company. I'm just not at liberty to say who it is :)

Yes, it is. It's not that well paid either.

Also true. I definitely spend more time designing than playing these days. However, I actually prefer it that way (for now)
