......keep all his weapons?
I mean the guy carries like 10-20 weapons and in mods like Smod and Gmod he carries even more!
So where does he keep them?
A Dimensional Pocket on his back or something?

He has an original Dungeons and Dragons Bag of Holding.

In places that would make a blusher sail.

They just float around behind him and he reaches out and grabs what he wants with his 4 extra arms on his back.

They are stored externally. There are several specific points on the outer shell of the suit which have the capability to magnetically lock a metal object onto it, which will remain there until a sufficient amount of force is applied to release it. While the object is attached, the internal computer will run a scan on the object and cross reference it with a database on various tools and modern firearms, and identify it on the heads up display this way. If it does not find a match on either, it will not display a proper result, or in the case of a firearm, simply list it's caliber and identify what it would best appear to be to the computer.

Actually, I don't know, but they go somewhere.

All his guns are in fact a single gun: a block of matter that can be transformed into any firearm in the suit's database at the scroll of a mousewheel.

That and the Wizard that did it.

Did you just pull that out your butt?

Seriously? I would go with Calhoun's idea of magnetic weapon locks, sounds plausible...

I don't know. It would seem very cumbersome, but it s probably the best explanation for it. When the confiscation field relieves Gordon of all his weapons, visually it doesn't look like all that much to carry. Before, I though they got internalized in the suit somewhere but it isn't nearly bulky enough for that to be the case.

Im going to go ahead and say " its just a game, dont worry about, no ideal explanation is needed " Then it makes me think... where the f-ck are his hands!? good god!? He doesnt need hands to drive!!??

Yeah but it's fun to rationalize the seemingly irrational occurrences. It helps immersion and suspension of disbelief.

They are carried behind him by a young honduran boy named Vasquez who has a horrible phobia of being seen.

Vasquez: Senor Gordon beats me! Please help me! Aiii! No Senor Gordon!

Gordon: Come here you!

Old.

We might as well ask why a scientist is weilding a crowbar like a psycopathic murderer.

Or why Barney just gave you a damn crowbar when he had an entire arsenal of weapons.

I think pistolero raised a good point. He might (for all we know) carry a horde of storage containers on his back.

Calhoun's idea makes sense to me. I agree with it. I have a question too. Do you think Alyx will change her close soon I mean really even when they had that large break in the action at the end of EP2 she was still wering the same close.

Well she doesent have much time with the constant action and combine attacks

not really
cause you figure she had to get in the chopper and go places unless she buried her dad then got on the chopper and went to wherever

yea but since you first met her in hl2 shes getting pretty dirty. shes been beaten to bits in a couple of days so i can understand im just saying. we have been thru a lot but its about time we take 5 and get a shower.

There really has never been a time to take a rest and freshen up. Shit is happening constantly. Ep1 was a race against the citadel's destruction sequence. Ep2 was a race against the super portal opening up. Ep3 will be a race to the Borealis.

No time.
