They've been going by the name Heaven and Hell, and released a new album in April. It's awesome, and retains that 80's metal feel:

They're going to be touring with Coheed and Cambria in August, and I may very well buy a ticket.

wtf @ touring with Coheed.

You have a problem with Coheed? Claudio Sanchez is an excellent musician in his own right. Sure, it's not exactly a band you'd expect Sabbath to remotely consider touring with, but I'm game.

I kinda do have a problem with Coheed, music is good, singing is awful sounds the same in every song like him whining.

But I actually said that because of the second thing you said, Sabbath doesn't seem to go with the music of Coheed.

I'm sorry to hear that.

You guys can hate on Coheed all you like, but I actually enjoy some of their music. I was just looking at tour locations, and the closest to me is about 300 miles. A bit too far away unfortunately.

Got no problems with Heaven and Hell, but it's not anything like Black Sabbath.

Not even ****ing close.

Why do you say that? It's got Dio, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler and Vinny Appice. Iommi and Butler were two of the founders of Sabbath, while the other two were prominent members. It's literally Sabbath under a different name:

I for one, enjoy all of Coheed's music. The stories spanning the albums are completely epic.

the guitar solo in heaven and hell IS a lot better than most of sabbath. i think its because iommi didn't use that same fuzzy tone he usually has.

It gets really confusing, even having read the graphic novel and comics.

It is confusing. But I still love it. Which album is your favorite?

In Keeping Secrets for sure. I think their latest is my least favorite. I enjoyed all the others though.

That's my favorite too. I enjoy parts of the latest but their first one seemed to drag a little for me.

I just get in to this at all.
Just like my friends were forcing to watch a concert by the Doors.
That shit is ****ing horrible yet people seem to think the singer was some sort of LSD Jesus.

lol the beer fridge in their touring bus will be filled with geritol

dio was old back when he fronted Dio. in fact wiki says he's 67 years old :O

I did not know this:

n a 1987 episode of Cheers, psychologist Frasier Crane is revealed to be a long-time Dio fan, a theme which was continued in several episodes of the spin-off series, Frasier.
