Which broadband ISPs do you recommend? UK companies only please!

After bad experiences with both NTL (for other issues besides the internet) and Wanadoo I've decided to look at other options. I'm not too fussed about the pricing right now - just wanted to gather people's opinions on ISPs to see if it helps me choose a new one!

I've heard Pipex is quite good...

and pipex, both i use (home and uni) and both are fantastic. No problems what-so-ever.

In case you dont know ntl are upgrading the service soon so you might wanna stick with them. Speeds and caps are chnging from 300-1000 (5gb/month), 750-2000 (30 gb/month) and 1500 to 3000 (40gb/month), you will have to pay £25 to upgrade

tesco broadband... £19.97pm and no download caps... from what ive heard the service is excellent.

BLueyonder is extremly spiffy

768 k broadband for the price of 512k because they upgraded evyones connections up 50% for free!! they so nice

i dled at 90k a sec on good servers whihc isnt bad

Plusnet unmetered 2mb for £40 is the best out there I think.

www.adslguide.org.uk is a good place to start looking for a new isp.

I would have recommended them also as its what i use but as chris seems to be in an NTL area he wont be able to get telewest...
