Which game is more realistic: D3 or HL2

You cant answer this really, Half Life 2 is set in a city, yes, city's are them things we have in real life and actually exsist while doom3 is set on mars in a space station, which do exsist but not on planets and mars certaintly isnt somewhere we take the dog for a walk so no one can compare a real life setting to a fictional one.

If doom3 was set in a city like HL2 id say D3 would look more realistic - Better graphics > HL2.

And textures in space stations dont have a gritty feel to them, havent you watched star wars, everything is smooth and metal nibs.

I think HL2 looks great and the characters are wonderful and more realistic, but I think overall D3 has a slight edge in quality.

I'm new to the Doom saga so I haven't been bothered about the videos or anything, maybe I'm wrong, but I think Doom 3 is too hyped.

Will it be out in America first so the net will be destroyed by HL2 screens and shit before us UK peeps can even get it?

HL2, but only because of how it is done. I am more apt to think of it as realistic because of the environment it is in, earth, the city. But whereas doom3 is on Mars, and I just dont feel like its realistic, even though I think it looks real, just not because of my perception.
