Which HD TV?

I got this one:

(You're british right?)

It's an awesome HDTV for the price, much better than other HDTVs in way higher price classes. It also got all kinds of connections like component, HDMI, VGA, composite, 2 SCART so I got my PC, 360, Wii, PS2, SNES and my Pong machine all connected at once :).

The picture is a bit sluggish with analog antenna cable but that's normal. The picture from the computer over HDMI is great though. I run 1360x768 on it.

However, it's only 32". I actually thing they got a 42" 1080p screen that isn't waaay over ?800.

Edit: To answer your latest post:

The current generation of plasma screens doesn't burn in. LCD screens are better if you're going to use it with the computer (sharp stuff like text etc), but they have no problem with movies or games. I can rarely see any ghosting with my HDTV (only on analog TV... but like I said, that's normal). Plasmas are better for TV watching, displays better colours and stuff like that. The differences isn't all that great. Pick the one with best picture for the best price :)

Also watch out for some "fake-HD" tvs that only displays stuff at like 1024x768.

I've never really noticed any motion smear on my LCD

I spent 800 quid on a 40" Samsung HDTV and it's absolutely awesomely perfect.

samsung r88 range is good

HD = anything over 720 lines with High definition content protection

The panasonic tx32lxd70 is Awesome as well

i work in curry's and im one of the few ppl who actually know what makes a good tv who work there

100hz lcds are suposedly the in thing but they make piss all difference really

I've lot the LE40R87BD - Everything about it is perfect. Works amazing with the 360, the built in freeview works brilliantly (much better than the standalone freeview boxes) and it has 3 HDMI ports. It's not a 1080p screen but you'd never know. It still looks perfect.

Plus it's a samsung, so picture quality is just awesome.

I'm pretty sure it's a bad thing if they add an X at the end of the code, that means a lower quality panel with a higher tolerance for dead pixels.
