IE, Firefox, Mozilla, Ghostzilla, occasionally Safari

So 84% of HL2.Net uses Firefox, and the 16% uses Other.

Interesting...

Firefox, but some of the university computers use netscape. Which is ridiculous.

how could you..how could you..

fireferret ftw
Not perfect but it really has the best balance of what I want. And it isn't running off explorer.exe and doesn't use ActiveX by default. (Use IE7 when I want to visit a trusted site that requires ActiveX so I can keep my FF install without it.)

I liked how IE6 looked but it sucked for security and page rendering was not standard. IE7 pretty much fixes that but now it looks terrible (imo). Hate.

I've tried Opera. Would like to get used to it but doesn't load pages the same as IE or FF. Not quite on par for compatibility, at least for the sites I go to. /shrug
Otherwise I would use it...maybe. Would have to have to get similar plug-ins like I use with FF.

SHEEEEEEEEET

I thought it was a multi poll so i selected Firefox then IE7 then my vote got counted as IE7

Yep. I definitely fall into the big-ass-jeep-with-bad-ass-weaponry category.

My firefoxing is almost entirely extension-driven.

Fire Fox is mainstream now so it isn't cool:p. Jk. Really, I just don't like it.

Yes that's true. My dad makes web site themes, and he keeps complaining how hard it is to make a theme render the same in IE and Fire Fox.

However the argument that FireFox is faster, well it's complete rubbish. I've tried it and it loads web pages at the same rate. Also I find the tab system extremely annoying.
So it's IE6 + Google Toolbar for the time being.

Haw haw, I died laughing

We are the IElite Four, who shun tabs. We'll take our ctrl+n and open a new window, thank you.

Plus, look at that picture Hazar posted. We get top hats and we ride in horse-drawn carriages. That is AWESOME.

Shit, ctrl+n? You can do that on FF too and I didn't know. That's really useful.

Because sometimes I want to like seperate my tabs. Like I have one window with all my email and smaller forums and wikipedia pages and webcomics on in tabs, and one other window for halflife2.net and google image searches.

Hell, I just use lots of Firefox windows.

I'm just used to it, I guess.

Here's the thing. I use FireFox at home. However, the majority of time I spend on HL2.net is at work, where I'm forced to conform with IE6.

So, much to my dismay, I'm voting for that. :|

I held onto IE6 longer than most people, because I was so used to just alt-tabbing, until I upgraded to IE7 for some unknown reason I can't remember. I started getting used to the tabs, and it was nice. So then, I didn't have IE7 at work, but I had Firefox, thus I got used to Firefox, and now use it at home.

I have no real reason for switching...I just did. Primarily laziness is what brought upon being accustomed to Firefox, I guess.

Used to use Opera. Crashed on me so damn much that I jumped back onto the firefox bandwagon.

Firefox.

Wow, I didn't expect almost everyone here to use it, though.

I wouldn't use anything other than firefox. (except after reformatting or something, I open IE7 to get to mozilla.org to go DL firefox)

Shit, ctrl+n? You can do that on FF too and I didn't know. That's really useful.
you can also use ctrl+t to open new tabs.
so what kind of extensions do you guys have ?. right now i just have "customize google"

firefox. cause i dont care to change after using it for so long now

FoxyTunes, AllPeers, a few others

What I really want is the ability to add another row to the bookmark toolbar.
