ok...i'm thinking of two motherboards to use. Either the Gigabyte 8KNXP or the MSI 875 Neo. However I want somebody who knows a lot to give me some advice on which to buy.

Pros and Cons (that I know of)

--GA-8KNXP-- around $200
Pros:
Bundled with a ton of extras, hardly any difference than the 8KNXP Ultra, pretty sturdy
Cons:
I've read that it can't go past 3.0ghz, which is what I'm planning on getting except that means no upgrades.

--MSI 875 Neo-- around $150
Pros:
cheaper, better benchmarks, a cool northbridge fan with neo lights comes with it :), 50 bucks cheaper. Can go up to 3......6+ i think.
Cons:
erm...i don't know

So which one should I go with? From what I wrote it sounds like I should go with the Neo, but I've heard only good about the Gigabyte....

The cheapest? :)
Well, just a quick look shows that both are based on the same chip... And then the second with its pricetag is definetly a better choice. Spend those extra 50$ on a good graphics card instead (assuming you dont already have one of course, hehe)

I would go with the one that gets best scores in benchmarks. If the reviewers like its it probably good.

never get an MSI mobo. EVER. many people I know have one and they regret about it every day.

Never get that MSI, its only got the best benchmarks because they overclock the CPU the most on default settings. Its a really cheap tactic that unfortunatley has become common practice with most company's. If your looking for a good 875p board go with Abit. I myself am getting this one soon http://www.newegg.com/app/viewproduct.asp?description=13-127-152 . Also Newegg if you dont know about it is simply the best site around to get PC parts from. You might want to check out http://www.tomshardware.com or more specifically this http://www.tomshardware.com/motherboard/20030707/index.html . Ive had an Abit TH7 II and its never given me any problems at all.

Well since this post is already about motherboards I geuss I will post what I want and will ask some of you if it is good. I want to get an ASUS A7N8X Deluxe model. I am wondering how good this motherboard is, like is it stable, fast and could I overclock maybe a little withought frying it and it becoming unstable.

Thanks

I agree wholeheartly with Northwood83.
Abit has some of the best mobos. I'm more than pleased with my Abit nForce2.
