Ok to my despair im still about 100 dollars short on my dream radeon 9800, and im pretty sure im going to have to update my power supply along with the card.

considering they are all antec, just get whatever wattage you need. I cant suggest anything unless i know what kind of system you are running.

You should be fine. Your system definitely came with a 300W PS or higher, and 300 is the requirement.

Believe me, it is. I have a dell also, and the specs are 1.6ghz, 512mb PC2100 RAM, and a GF2 MX400(my ti4200 just had to fry...) and the PSU is 300W.

i got 293 for your set up, but i guess on a few things, i dunno what you have,
note that 293 is the max you would need, if everything was running at its full load which is never.
yours is fine unless you plan to overclock

I say the 9800AIWpro drop at the local shop from 568 (CDN) to 539
so prices are on the downward sprial.
try to wait it out till sept 30.
