Which ones are Kleiner and Vance? (HL and BS spoilers)

OK its a wild stab in the dark but does anyone have any idea which of the scientists in HL these are?

Is Vance the coloured scientist you meet out of the lift next to the broken panel in 'Unforseen Consequences'? seeing as you had no weapon to kill him (minus cheats)

Or is he one of the ones hiding in the room beyond the spinning surgical unit that lets you out to start 'surface tension'?

And i thought Kleiner was one of the ones overseeing the experiment (dont ask me why thought i read it somewhere) but a beam shot out from the capaciter in the accident and turned the occupants of the room to red mush on the floor.

In blue shift at the end calhoun gets out with rosenburg and two other scientists but i cant remember the names are these 'em?

Walter and Simmons are the two that escaped with Calhoun and Rosenberg..

I'm guessing Walter is the same as the one metioned by the Hologram in Op4, and the W. Bennet mentioned in the Half-Life Decay manual.

Neither Kliner or Vance is in the first game.

Also making an appearance is the Black Mesa 'Administrator' who we all thought was the G-Man.

Well technically they are. Kleiner is one of the bold guys and Vance is black.

Kleiner is basically what the bald scientists are modeled after. He is also a part of the storyline. Vance is what the black guys are modeled after.

Back in that gen, everyone looked the same so we had dozens of Kleiners and Vances walking around.

Kleiner is mentioned in the Hl1 instruction manual, and vance is one of the african american scientists. By walter I assume they mean Walter Bennett

^^for crying out loud, see the thread about HL2 storyline, we've already talked about this, saying someone is colored isn't racist, get over yourself.

As for kleiner and vance, we know they were in black mesa, but we don't know who. I'm betting kleiner is the guy in the dumpster, and vance is the original black scientist who lets you out of the test area

edit: or maybe kleiner is the guy before the freezer. "blah blah lambda team. You can trust them...you can trust all of us." That was one of the more poignant moments, I thought.
