Which will you play first MP or SP?

Anyways what are you planning to play first, Single Player, or Multiplayer. I think I'll play single player all the way through until I get bored then play Multiplayer then go back to singleplayer. The reason is because the ai going to be so good, it would probably seem as if I was playing with real people IMO. Another thing is there might not be that many HL2 servers or there might be so.

Definitely SP to get the storyline. If I get stuck somewhere, I'll switch over to MP for a bit, then don't forget CS: Source, DoD: Source and TFC: Source... gotta check those out too!

SP 'till I finish it perforated with generous helpings of CS:S (assuming it's out at the same time as HL2) and once the SP is done I shall remove myself to the MP (if it's better/substantially different from CS:S).

I'll set up an MP server straight away - and see what HL2 multiplayer actually is Run about on my own for half and hour, get a feel for the engine, try out a few weapons etc, and then start playing SP.

I'll play SP first, and I'll play the great beginning (much like the first, it's slow, and I happened to like that style) and then when you get the suit, maybe you do this time, maybe not, I'll play and fight a few things, and say, this is sweet, save it where I'm at, and play some sweet MP. As for CS and DoD, I'll play DoD first, than CS. Sorry for all the c,om,ma,s. lol

I live in Jacksonville FL. And i dont think they'll release DOD:S AND TFC:S along with HL2. Maybe just CS:S. Then after Half Life is stable theyll presume working on TFC:S.

Gabe has said that all source conversions are planned on being released at the same time as HL2. Nobody's sure on what is coming with the game but they plan on having them all done at least by release.

and to stay on topic: i'll play single player first. gonna wait on the mp until there is a nice selection of "good" servers up and going.

Hints, cheats and spoilers will all completely ruin the SP. The thing I'm least looking forward to, the thing that has been there for every game ever released, the people who have incredibly overblown and gigantic expectations of this game only to be letdown, pissing and moaning for months after they stop playing only trying to bring down others.

I'd never let someone else's opinions bother me. Still, there will be people whining "we've waited all this time for this.." or "xxx game has this feature, this game sucks" or some other form of complaining. They'll get the people who do enjoy this game all riled up. Then we'll get the old standby, "if you don't like it why do you stay here trolling?" This community will turn into the Soldner forums.

Anyway back to the topic. I'll play SP first, second and third. I'll never play a game of HL2 MP or any other MP mod. I hate MP and when SP is done, so will I be with this game.
