Besides, last time I used an ignore function, years ago, I would end up just reading their post anyway by clicking on the little link thing.

Ha! Had no idea there was one frankly. It seem to me that such a feature sort of undermines the very idea of a forum for discussion.

I think it might be useful on an unmoderated board, but our mods are so good that we needn't worry about relentless spamming and vulgarity and other annoyances.
