Ok i just realised something i didn't catch my eye onto before in a screenshot.. I was hoping someone in this forum could clear it up for me. Now i know they aren't Combine (maybe the Very old version of the combine, but i dout that.) Could someone clear this Screenshot up for me and tell me WHO ARE THE PEOPLE RUNNING?

Its an old screen shot from an old build of HL2.. kind of like the old pics of HL1 before it was released... those guys are the old rebels. Dont worry yourself too much about it.

according to valve, those are the "potatoe people"...
they live underground in caves, where they harvest subterranean potatoes...
hence the outfit they're wearing...apparently they're a peaceful people, who only want to make more potatoes for the people of city 17, a city depleted of any starchy foods and high carb meals...

That is hilarious! This is why we should be grateful that HL2 was delayed for a year, because if it wasn't this is the kind of crap we would be playing with. We would be all siked to play, and then we would see these lame ass ninja wanna-bes running and it would totally take away from seeing the Strider tower over all.
Remember the sparks from the cardboard/wood collisions, the muzzle flash through solid objects, and the gib pieces from HL1 in various screenshots of HL2? Remember the HL1 blood spray when the crowbar hit the zombie? We don't want any of that to ruin our HL2 experience. Soon enough we will all be amazed and we will be so happy that it is the best gaming experience available.
