I have Half-Life 2: Raising the Bar - A Behind the Scenes Look Preordered.
I have Half-Life 2 Special Edition DVD Preordered.

Im going to buy the Half-Life 2 Special Edition DVD = $80
Im going to buy Half-Life 2: Raising the Bar = $30
Im going to upgrade my ATI Voucher to the GOLD pack = $40 (Im assuming this) [Gold = $90] (ATI Voucher = Bronze = $50) $90-$50=$40

Total = $150

Who else is doing what im doing? Just wondering.

As of now i have 4 accounts.

1. Has all released games but Cz - Little brothers account.
2. Has all released games but Cz - Use one for Cs leagues.
3. Has all released games but Cz - Back up account. (For lans public places)
4. (ATI Voucher account) Will be upgrading this to the GOLD pack
5. Will make a new account with the Half-Life 2 Special Edition DVD

Thats my plan.

The Main reason is a Hard dvd copy. So i can have the cd case on display etc. Plus i want 2 accounts with Hl:S, Hl2, Cs:s.

i was thinking of getting a Steam version and a store version, but i can see absolutley no reason to get the retail version anymore.

there is nothing in the CE exclusive extras worth having. i can burn my own DVD of my .gcfs if need be, and the "Raising the Bar" book i have on pre-order from Amazon more than makes up for the lack of a CD/DVD case and printed manual.

At first I was going to do the same thing as you Raziel but I think I'm just going to skip buying the CE edition and just getting the gold package on steam. It offers a lot more then the CE and is only $10 more and you get a stradegy guide, soundtrack, posters, etc. CE isn't worth it in my opinion.

Make sure you get the book asap. I would reserve it. Its limited print they will go fast.
