This is an incredibly popular place. :)



And I have an incredible amount of spare time! :P

its suprising how many people join, then never post here. loads of people have 0-1 post and thats it- so theres probally only about 1,000 or less who pst regularly.

my mate started an account on my PC right after me, and i think he posted once then never even used the account on his own PC (i think the account got deleted by fenric or something anyway).similarly i was talking to a guy on MSN (j-swifty, he goes to my school) and he joined the forums, but i think he never posted.

Some of us have Uni exams to do ... then again, in 24 hours I won't have to do anything for another 4 months :) Hmm, shoudol perhaps get back to Geotechnics revision (bleugh!) rather than spamming ...

Hehe. It's amazing really - with one post you move up about 2000 places. Then another 1 will take about 500 further. I s'pose it's kinda exponential. So, uh, 1st place should have infinity posts ... hmmmm. Are there any graphs fo that kidna thing anywhere? It's always interesting to see ...

whats the average posts per day??? just out of intrest. i want to see if im below or above. its probally impossible to work out without a ginaumus calculatoir but hey

I just did it approximately. We've been up just over a year, I think Munro said the forums went up on the 16th of May 2003, so that's about 373 days ago. Divide 454,128 posts on the forum by that 373 and you get:

1217 Posts a day. Impressive!

You can easily find out by just going to the main forum index, then looking at the bottom of the page - there's info on number of members, posts and threads. Looking at it now you can see that there's actually 21,582 threads, so that divided by 373 gives you more like 58 threads a day!
 
I'm pretty sure about 20,000 of those are delay and beta threads. :D

awwww ****. i added all the forums threads up individually... i probally made a mistake. if id have known it was that easy... :laugh:
