i dont really like techno, I like electronica, dance, trip hop, house but true honest to god techno sucks. What the general population considers "techno" isn't. My CD stash is full of chemical brothers releases (every single one to be exact), fatboy slim, prodigy, daft punk yada yada. but they arent techno

That is slightly a pet peeve of mine too. Techno doesn't describe everything. Electronica is more like it.

I like lots of electronic music. Some techno is bad, but I've rarely encountered it.
