The character of Dr. Kleiner, written in the game by Marc Laidlaw, came up with a corny joke, albeit one that has been used before, to name his pet headcrab.

It is so hard to understand? This isn't James Bond we're talking about. It's some old quirky mad scientist. It's funny that he would make the joke because it's corny and bad.
