Who needs to get the super grav gun?

Found these console commands out. Try it out yourself:

physcannon_maxforce # changes how powerful the gun is
physcannon_maxmass # changes maximum mass you can pull
physcannon_pullforce # changes how fast objects are pulled
physcannon_tracelength # changes how far you can pull things
physcannon_cone # changes the radius in which things can be pulled. You can turn into a human magnet with this :p
 
Great commands, but whats the defaults on the gun if... you know that? :thumbs:
 
I dont really. But if you type in the commands with no values it usually tells you.

Haha, you just hold the button for a while and notice that the Citadel has somehow moved closer to you. XD
 
If I changed all these setting would I have to change them back or does steam do it when I restart?

What is the command to enable grabbing organic material like people? :)
 
I have a question here then.... Do any of these console lines allow you to grab enemies as the blue gravity gun does? The must fun aspect of the blue gun is yanking some combine off of his feet, and using him to deliver a beatdown to his buddies. I would LOVE to add this to the orange gun if possible, because the route to getting the blue gun back to the start of the game tends to pooch the script.
 
No. I do believe this doesnt enable you to pick up organic items. The blue gravity gun just seems to operate differently than the regular one. Notice hitting people with the primary fire causes them to disintegrate, not just fly.
 
Actually had a play around with this previously whilst browsing the 'phys_' cvars, not only can you pick up just about anything, including the cars, giant rocks and bundles of girders on Highway 17, but also the buggy and airboat, without crashing.

Really? Post the cvars, because I still crash when picking up any functioning vehicle, such as the buggy.
 
Will someone post the ideal settings? I want to make a huge selection of Configs that I can load at will.
 
Actually if you look further into the physcannon settings you can also change the settings for the super gravity gun
