That is something that doesn't work IF YOU HAVE AN ILLEGAL COPY OF THE GAME. "Node graph out of date - rebuilding" ring any bells? AI disabled? All the NPC's just stand around? Yes, we know about the bugs in the pirated copies. Anything else you'd like to incriminate yourself with on the website supported by the people you stole the game from?

Give it up we already know you have pirated the game the ONLY way to fix it is to BUY the game and play it though steam. If you take a screen shot of your steam account then i might start to believe you.

That's because in order for HL2 to run properly, you HAVE to use Steam. By saying that you're not using Steam to run it, you're admitting to having a pirated copy of the game, which is a crime if you didn't know that.

You cannot use a legit copy of HL2 without using steam. So you are running a pirated version of the game, and if you *do* own a legitimate copy of the game like you say, then the solution for all your problems is this: Use it.

If you can't find the game in shops (a legal version), then you can buy the game on Steam and download it through Steam too, right onto your computer. With the legal version Counter Strike Source and HL2 Deathmatch will work no problem and you can play online easily. Go to www.steampowered.com and download Steam - it's easy from there.
