Why am I pre-loading HL2 without a cupoung?

because everyone gets to preload it, you only get to play it when you pay for it, voucher holders play it as soon as its released.

anyone can preload, but you still gotta buy a cdkey to play it once it's downloaded

any one can preload but you cant do anything with it till you bye it. Your getting it confused with the CS source beta wich is limited to CZ owers and people with the ATI copon.
