There must be something wrong with me. It was 4:25am when i read this in the latest Game Informer Magazine's July edition calendar events.

Black College Football: The Xperience will fall on July 14th

you can read more there, but seriously who names a game Black College Football: The Xperience?? I still can't stop laughing at that title

Also this game represents all that I dislike in the world, Football, bad spelling when trying to act cool, and racist "but only racist when you notice it" labeling. We don't call Madden 2010 "White Football Game 2010: The Xtreme"

Sounds like you're probably a bit racist.

"Those silly ******s and their black colleges and drum lines, hyuck hyuck"

Nothing wrong with the game, more power to 'em for being so upfront.

Looking at the screens it seems everyone in the game is black

lolwtf

i can almost guarantee the crowd member in the second pic and very top right is at least mexican.

Believe it or not, we used to have Black College Football. It was called segregation.

Edit: It would also be nice if we could have a discussion about this without accusing people of being racists. Because all that will do is get the thread closed.

The most comical thing about 'Black College Football' will always be the fact that a game played mostly with your hands is called 'Football'.

Though my general ignorance of this exotic form of Rugby (only girlies with small boobs use padding) makes me completely unaware of whether you even get all black college football. Hell, I didn't know you'd started letting non-whites into higher education yet.

Whats the difference between the Black Collage Football 'Xperience' and the White Collage Football 'Xperience'?

From what I've seen on wikipedia (and what it basically says in the review), the Historically Black Colleges and Universities (institutions that used to be all black before the 60s) have long established 'Classics' matches from before education was segregated with specific College rivalries, and the half-time shows have some traditional elements too (which is what the rock-band drumming half-time mini-game is about).

I hate patronising faux-ghetto spelling as much as the next person, but I can kind of see where the game is coming from. Aren't EA's Madden titles usually definitive? You can only really get around that by attempting something completely different.

Fair enough, as long as it has some substance to it not just black game models running round doing the same stuff as every other gridiron game. Still it's a very funny/annoying name.

i think soccer was supposed to be the original name for american football but some southerners were stupid and got it confused with football.

Xperience? XPERIENCE?

Jesus christ.

Does it take much more ****ing effort to add an E at the beginning... or do people ****ing like X so much they have to be idiots in its use?

XTREME!

Weird title. Not necessarily racist, since there are some historically-black colleges, but the name sounds weird.
