Why did you choose your avatar?

Well, I was searching through the forums, and I saw there was no thread dedicated to people explaining why they chose their avatar to use. Figured it was as good as any... so lets have a go.

Why did you choose your current avatar to use? Or rather your main one(I know some of you switched for the CB fan club, and that other icon thing)?

I chose this avatar... the dancing cow, because I had a female friend on AIM that I helped recover her buddy icon, which was the cow... and she let me use it. I've used it ever since... and all my women friends think the thing is so damn cute, and it attracts all the right attention, kinda like a baby or a puppy :-P

EDIT: The guys think i'm nuts using it... but my method works.

One day two summers ago, I was really bored, so I drew a rose in Paint. Then I decided to color it in, and mess with the background, and change the colors again, and mess with the background some more, and invert colors (must've been really bored....). So when I signed up on these forums, I originally used a dashboard confessional avatar, just because I liked it, but then rediscovered the rose and now it's my avatar.
