Yea, why does he?

all of his smiles are forced.
you'd think having a job and a following as cool as his is, hed be cracking up at everything, in extasy y'know?

i know i would.

I cant do that, Crabface. It would voilate the terms of our Dr / Patient relationship. That, and I dont really care, I just want your money. Heres my prognosis; youre neruotic. Ok, your 50 minutes are up, that will be $200.

Actually being the owner of a company like valve can be very stressful..especially with a publisher like vivendi.

Might be because the team is so stressed out, I mean they've worked on a game the past 6 years and are trying to get it out ASAP, preperations etc, can really bog you down.

Gabe is sad because he has an alien burrowing inside him and he has to force smiles to hide his deep, horrible secret.
 
Its ok that you guys talk crap sometimes, just for the fun of it.
But you dont always have to say such things..


Of course he is depressed, alot of work, stressed, hl2-fans talking piss and sending hate "youre fat" and so on.

Gabe is a god amoung men.

Gabe is a unique product of his time. Mozart, Da Vinci, Newell. In 50 years when you're reading some history of games book Gabe will be spoken of in great reverence. In a time of iD software infested crappiness, in stepped Newell and a breath of goddamn fresh air. It's not even fresh air, because you know what fresh air is like. It's like something you've never experienced. It's like smoking 2000 j's then od'ing on a tank of pure oxygen. Such is the effect of Newell on the game industry.

no no NO!

That's not how you do it. First you listen for a couple of minutes say you need something like 100 sessions for 200$ each, and then you'll need the money in advance.

After that your first session begins and you let him introduce himself and then his problem(Interrupt if he's taking up time)

THEN you send him home.

How bout I constantly badger some of you people in here and call you fat and chunky monkeys and fat f*cks and poke jokes about krispy kremes and chicken fingers for months and months at a time and see how you feel about it. Not to mention bringing out possibly the worlds greatest game , yet your fanbase cracks lame jokes that only a person with the mentality of a 12 year old would make.

Normally I wouldn't say this....but since I'm drunk what the h3ll. The people cracking these jokes, If I could only catch you in the dark at night.....

My best friend is a 385lb puertorican and he's the most str8 up guy I've ever met, it's not his fault he's a big dude. I'd never take a cheap shot at him about his weight, how low can you get? He got hosed by his genetics and whatnot, not his fault. Those are the types that are a waste of air to the worlds population. No, ofcourse not, it's MacD's fault!
Come one, man, if gabe is 'hosed by his genetics', he'll never be a ballet dancer, but that is really no reason why he should be that overweigted.
The genetic tendency to get fat is only responsible to a certain point, everything beyond it is due to chickenfingers.

hey, why do ya'll always have to give chicken fingers shit? it's not THEIR fault people are fat... i mean, i've never seen a chicken finger punch a guy in the face then crawl down his throat. always more like the guy grabbing the chicken finger, dipping it in some delicious honey mustard (or Cane's sauce, if you're from around here. mmm...Raisin' Cane's) and then eating it quite voluntarily.

This is actually the most logical explaination thus far. The aliens are preparing us for their coming through these games and they use Gabe as their puppet! Soon, Babe will explode and the aliens will come out of his stomach to take over!
 
he sad because his 6 year work come to an end.

Actually, the real reason that Gabe is so sad and has to use forced smiles is because of a secret... a deep dark secret... that only me and that guy *points at old man on the street* know

The reason is that: Gabe has recently been visited by the FBI about HL2 and the combine. Apprently, the Combine seem to be real and if he realeases Half-life 2 the combine will make him drink banana juice that has been coughed up by a wolf-man...

He is simply trying to hide the fact that there is no HL2... it is only a dream
