RTS games are not playable on a PC? You just lost all validity in my mind.

As for Tony Hawk.. I have played it on my PC many times, with the Dual Shock gamepad.

I rented once dune 2 for sega genesis just to see how playable it was. need I comment on how to defend your base with a d-pad ?

Id say RTS and FPS are made for the computer.
Personally im not likly sony. They seem to be like microsoft....
Always expanding. First trying to take over Apples music department, now making a few pc's, and with the sony playstation.
I just hate Sony in some areas.

I mean starcraft is the #1 played rts in the world.(Ahh Koreans and there ability of making games national sports)
Starcraft 64 is...umm.. oo how can i say it? No one in the world is probably playing it right now.

But for those ment for the consoles, well buy a gamepad and boom your good.
Consoles are crap, and once consoles get keyboards and mouses and monitors... and internet explorers, and instant messangers, and so on. Well what makes them diffrent from a computer?
Consoles are just computers with less features in my opinon.

Why don't I like consoles ? Well ... :

1) The number of idiot fanboys out there are astonishing. People who like Halo will come and spam in other boards about how good it is, and then will continue to state bluntly that their game is "teh best", and all others suck. When challenged on their claims, they will run away, and camp for newbies who wander in to their Halo board. (I'm talking about Gamfaqs.com, by the way)

2) The number of biased reviewers in mags. Hyper is the worst console-kisser mag around, and seem to have an unhealthy obsession on bringing up "PCPP" (PC Powerplay) in their reviews. They gave DX:IW a huge score (90 upwards), while they were reviewing it on XBox !. Another magazine (PC mag, forget which one) reviewed it fairly and gave it a score of below 70.

3) Again, people who beat Halo believe themselves Hardcore veterans of the FPS genre. The same goes for Ninja Gaiden players, except they think themselves Arcade veterans !

The list goes on, I can't be bothered listing any more ......

1. What about the guys who back up why they like Halo in a sensible way? Many people who enjoy Halo also have decent pcs and are fully aware of what what pc shooters have to offer. It's easy to tar all console gamers with the same brush if your only reference is Gamefaqs :/ (try http://ntsc-uk.domino.org/ for a decent console forum - proof that mature, intelligent, gamers and consoles do mix well)

2. Most magasines are biased - pc publications are easily as guilty of this as console mags (Edge being the only one worth reading imo, possibly Games tm)

3. Well - considering Halo (Xbox) actually requires some skill to finish, this is almost understandable (unlike most pc shooters) Ninja Gaiden is also pretty tough, and certainly one of the better arcade fighters to come out in ages. Of course it'll never be as 'arcade' as Radiant Silvergun or Ikaruga - but it wasn't trying to be. Either way, titles of this kind are woefully lacking on the pc.

I wouldn't say that PC gamers HATE consoles, but I would say a majority of PC gamers resent consoles. I say this because games like Deus Ex 2, while still good games, felt extreamly limited to the PC fan base. The PC crowd loved, and still loves the first Deus Ex. The dev's for whatever reason, decided to go the console route instead, and well, left PC gamers with nothing but a bad port of an "ok" game, that sadly, got left in the dust, failing to meet its full potential, well at least in my opinion.

in my opinion thats not a reazon to hate consoles, thats is hate the fan boys

is stupid that the magazines give diferent score review to the same game but in diferent plataforms, one reazon to give more score to a ame in another plataforms must be for something that pataform version hav and the others no

again why hates for that? I played houndreds of diferents videogames tipes but I dont consider myself a expert in all the genre I played

I recomend the PC-only-fans that play a litle of consoles games to see thats consoles are not so bad, you can rent one or play in one of a friend

this is so true and so anoying. i hate fanboys when they so close minded and only see one thing. Unfortunatly, they are alot of console fanboys and even much more pc fanboys that have all the technical reasons why the pc and hl2 is "teh best". If only gamers would just opened their mind a little bit more.
