WHY GF4 MX440 slows down on its own features?

Yah, well, i just got GTA: VC, and well i ran it with my gf4mx440 64mb agp4X, with the intellisample rating at best quality, but with antisoptric filtering , antialiasing, and texture sharpening off...it runs fine, but as soon as i set antialiasing to 2X, well than we get hell as soon as we start gta:vc,the game REALLY lags down..

The rest of my pc is good, P4 2.4B (533MHZ Bus), 512mb samsung DDR333 ram...

How come this vid card lags itself down on its own built in features?
Huh, just wondering, btw i have it overclocked:

Core: 345
Memory: 370

anyone reccomend a card cooler so i can o/c it more?

Im just gonna save money to get a 9500 pro >.<, DAMN NVIDIA FOR MAKING THE MX SERIES...THEY SHOULD ALL BURN IN HELL DAMN BASTARDS!!!

As always, the G4MX is a G2+. It sucks in terms of features and performance. Turning on AA is bad already for the G4Ti, guess how it is for a G4MX.

And I wouldnt advise a 9500 Pro. Buy a 9600XT instead, it shouldnt be that expensive

If you just brought a gf4 mx I feel sorry for you, return it. Its really a shame you got it because the rest of your PC is really rigged up for gaming.

Yeah, get a 9600 XT. 500/400 clock/memory, with an added bonus of it overclocking without you having to do anything besides clicking a button. And it's even dynamic, so you wont have to worry about it getting fried.

Plus you should get a voucher in it, entitling you to get a free Half-life 2 copy. I hope it doesnt have an expire-date,though.

Yah, i didnt buy this card, my dad bought it for me, although i asked for it - i didnt know how much the mx series sucked balls...And now i know it does, really big juicy ones to...hehe..

And where can i check up on prices for the 9600 XT? Pricewatch doesnt have it yet...Thanks guys .
(always heard the 9500 pro could out do the 9700...o well..)
