I don't really know anything about female circumcision. From what I hear it's vastly different than the effect it has on males, so it would probably be a different story.
On the contrary I think you have it backwards. Though I'm not debating the reasons, I'm uninterested in that. Even though that's what this thread is supposed to be about, you people seem to rather discuss how amazing your foreskins are and tell everyone else that we're poor abused people who will never have hope of sexual satisfaction.
You missed the point Sterny. It's not about the need, it's about the disadvantages. While cutting off your ears has vastly negative effects, circumcising somebody has zero effect unless that's the sort of thing you'd want to get upset at later in life.
