why is CS:S minimized as soon as I connect to a server?

Strange thing is, is that I only get these ads when I run steam and play any of the games.

Well, I did a spyware search and it fixed everything. Why would it only give pop-ups when Steam is loaded though?

I have the exact same problem. It also happens about 75% of the time the server changes maps.

Everybody says it's spyware but i've used 3 seperate spyware programs (S&D/Adware/somthingelse) and Norton and got rid of everything but it still occurs. Annoying as hell.

try yahoo toolbar anti-spy, it gets some things those programs dont

that my friend comes from downloading too much shit. Check your computer for something called "broadjump" its a bitch. I had it and it collects info on what sites you visit then gives you a **** load of pop ups to do with those websites and ones that are not related too.



Anyone who has this probelm i really encourage you to download a program called "Hi-jack this" and run a scan, then post your specs on some computer help forum and get a expert to check your comp for it. not all spywear is picked up on spywear scans. I got rid of broadjump and havnt had any problems since
