why is the next movie taking so long?

Why is the next movie after barricade taking so long? it should just be the one with the striders or someting else from the tech demo. So how can i take so long when the others didnt?

Valve's actions do not revolve around you and your wants. And for your information "Mr I'm-too-impatient-to-wait-for-anything-they-should-do-what-I-tell-them-or-else-I'm-going-to-kick-their-ass-IN-TEH-TPO-SEECRIT-HL2-MULTEYEPLAYRE" the longest we've ever had to wait for a Steam movie was the time between Bugbait and Barricade which was a total of 12 days, so if you wait 2 more days omg maybee u cud soo tehm or sumthing cos they maki u w8 and shit eh?

I already have all the videos, in one huge 600+ meg file, it's from Fileplanet and it is in good quality... these movies from steam are all old news and I want something new instead. Preferably a gd release date now and some mp info.

taz, the movies from steam are slightly different from the 600mb movie you have. some of them are from that video, but some of them are not seen, i.e. tunnels. Also, they are much higher res, and you can hear sounds and such better.

Valve better have that damned Half-life 2 released on time (Sept. 30) or I will be hella pissed!

If I had 100% assurance that valve would released hl2 on time, I wouldn't give a **** about any of the movies.

The thing I am worried about is valve has been saying/promising that they would release a bunch of different videos in with/without AA and they haven't released a movie and almost 2 weeks and the game is going to be release in 1 month!

They better just say its not coming out in sept. or it is, soon....

Nothing has been confirmed. BUt apparently Vivendi have told www.planethl2.net that the came is more likely to come out in November. Is it just me or do Vivendi only give official information about the delay to non-English sites.
