Ok, I own a small farm and I have 36 chickens, I went to collect the eggs tonight, and I saw a chicken just laying there, so I nudged it with my shoe and found out it was dead, I thought it might be Bird Flu, so when I put it in a bag, then double bagged it, I put it in my garage, and called the health department, and they said it's nothing to worry about, probably just a common chicken disease. "Just dispose of the chicken as usual" is what they said.

Scared the shit out of me when I found it dead and thought of "Bird Flu".

*tugs collar*

Dying birds eh?
I personally am unlucky 'cos I'm so close to Asia here in Aus, I am scared now <.<

im so lazy I probably wouldnt of called anyone, or double bagged it. Id probably just let someoneelse worry about it

You sound a mite paranoid, Dog--.

Yes I do.

Better safe than sorry?

If anyone should be worried about bird flu, I should, because the quarantine zone is right next door:eek: !

Famous last words, that sounds a bit negligent of them.

If bird flu did emerge around that area, the guy who said that would be torn apart.

For some reason I think it's gonna go the way of SARS.

"OH NO DOC...I ONLY HAVE A 99.8% CHANCE OF LIVING?!?!?! WHY GOD WHY??!!?!"

Australia is doing quite a bit of research in to it ATM, but it's kinda slipped under the radar on the news, here's hoping we fix it all.
