Well lthe problem is this.
First off all if I add a server to my favorites, the next time I start up steam they are not there, everything is back the way it was, but the strange thing is that this happens 9/10 times and for some reason once in a while if I add a server to my favorites it saves the settings so the next time I startup steam they are there. Could this have anythig to do with the cfg files or any other being read only or somethinng, I don't think so because then it wouldn't work ever would it.
( I really wouldn't know how to make my files read only or undo it)
Now I have a second problem wich is even more wierd, if during a game i bring up the console and i try to type something, the moment i press a letter the console dissapears, now there is two thing that happen when i open it again:
(1) The letter I typed when the console dissapeard is there and now I can type normally and the console doesn't dissapear, this happens most often.
(2) The letter I typed when ithe console dissapeard is still there, but now if I try to type anything, the console dissapears again and when I open it again it displays the lest letter typed.
For example: I typ in the letter "c", then the console dissapeirs, I bring it up again( and see the letter c is there), now I type in the letter "o", the console dissapears again, now I open it again and I onle see the letter "o".
Will someone please help me this is so irritainting, I do realize thas this very well may be a stupid quetion, but if you flame me could you please also give me a solution to my problem.
( and I am from holland so excuse any spelling or gramatical mistakes in my English)
