... And predictably it's a bit boring. I mean... it's news.

But what it does do is very nice. It takes loads of news from around the world and puts it into categories, Regional, National, International, Sports, Arts/Entertainment, Technology... and a couple more and there are a fair few results in each category. Then you can click slideshow where it will show the news item at the bottom of the screen, with a 3D globe showing the news' whereabouts. It's very nice.

Check it out, available for download now, one day early. Probably to make up for the Mario Galaxy delay. *sigh*

Also, for PAL areas, Mario Kart 64 came out today for 1000 points. I LOVE it. :D Playing Moo Moo farm right now.

I noticed my Wii updating itself this morning...

but wait wait wait. Mario Galaxy DELAYED?!?! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

'till when?

Well, considering they originally said "Spring," it's now going to be closer to Autumn. When Sunshine was due in Spring and was then delayed to Autumn, it was the beginning of October for the UK, so expect around then.

Also, Metroid Prime 3 will be out between April and June for the three main regions, with the reasons for delay being increased graphics, but also suspected online, what with it being one of the most popular DS online games.

As long as they don't delay Brawl, I guess...

I thought one of the main reasons for the Metroid Prime delay was to perfect the new expert control system. You know, to avoid another Red Steel.

That quote, combined with your avatar = lololol

For some reason, my Wii doesn't update itself. I've told it to update itself, but it doesn't. When an update becomes available, it turns itself on, then just sits there at the dashboard. I have to start the update myself. Oh well, can live with it.

My Wii requires me to physically activate the update. All it does is glow blue when it has an update ready. I don't really know if it's supposed to download it for me.

But I don't mind, because the actual notification is awesome. And gives me a warm feeling inside.

Woo! More features!

Also, is it true that they are going to be releasing DVD support for the Wii as a buyable channel? If so that would rock.

I wouldn't have thought so. It's the hardware that dictates what media it can handle, and the Wii doesn't have the tech to play DVD's. Unless it's some kind of firmware upgrade.

I shall be getting a Wii Points Card for my birthday to enjoy MK64.

Ah, memories!

The new's channel's cool. I like how it orders everything by where the news comes from on the map.

Nah, the Wii's Disk drive is a standard format DVD drive, it would be quite simple to pakage the software for use, they just never did it on release.
