Stated as fact, as so many other people on these boards.

I'd just let it go. He doesn't like the games...no big deal. Just know that his dislike of Metroid Prime, etc, puts him in a very slim minority.

However his continued misclasification of the game suggests that he hasn't spent more than 5 minutes with it. At least spend some time with it prior to lumping the game in with any other shooter on the market. A couple hours with the game can easily show you how wrong you are, Combine.

Looks like the Wii is the fastest selling console in the UK. Took 38 weeks to hit the 1 million mark, 11 weeks faster than the PS2.
I wonder if it will be hard to keep that trend to get close to PS2 total sales.

I doubt any system, even the Wii, will ever surpase the PS2 in sales.

Yeah, I'm inclined to agree with you. It is selling very well even now. Once a new system replaces the Wii it will probably stop selling as do most consoles. Unless of course no one really buys the replacement console just yet and more people keep buying the old (like Sony). D:
