Will an original xbox controller work with xbox 360?

Having never compared the two, I am unsure. I've asked my friend to bring some of his original xbox controllers round to use n my xbox 360, but I have a feeling that they won't work.

Nope, no port of it to connect to. Although I suppose it MIGHT work if you have one of those old xbox to pc usb converters you get. Not likely though.

Even then it will probably only work with original Xbox games and not the 360 games.

You just need to buy some more 360 controllers cause the old ones (including my favorite S-controller) is horrible in comparison.

I agree 100%. Dreamcast, Dualshock, Gamecube, N64 controllers can all go to hell.
