Will Gordon keep his pony tail?

I know this question is kind of silly, but in all the shots of Gordon we do see we always see the front of his head. I never tried it in HL, but in Opposing Forces I followed Gordon to xen (if you race fast enough after him you can go through the portal to xen, but you end up falling to your death cause you don't spawn on a floating island) and noclipped so i wouldn't fall to my death. Then when i flew around him i noticed he had a little pony tail, not like a rat tail, but not a female pony tail either.

This could severely impact the game!! And if they did take it out do you think it was a design decision or a technical limitation? :-P

Who knows, this might just be an Opposing forces easter egg.

Thanks NW, i was very bored and noticed the alex and gordon's heads were tilted about the same, so i figured alex needed some snazzy glasses.

And we don't know when half life took place, roughly between 1990-2000 we're thinkng, maybe it's just the style at the time, or he needed a hair cut really bad and knew he had to be in the test chamber that day.
Maybe he has a girlfriend that really digs pony tails and was like, "Come on Gordon, just try it for a little while". Oh the things Gordon does for love...

Whatever the reason, i don't think you can sell me on the Gordon being a tool speculation. The numbers just don't add up.

Incidently, the same led one forum member to switch Gordon's and Alyx's bodies around and many Freddy Mercury jokes a while ago.

As for the pony tail -- I think it's kinda cool.

its a nine polygon object at the base of the back of his head on the higher poly version, the lower poly version doesn't have it and Gordon is bulkier.. the gordon player model has both versions within it, the higher poly version is hidden inside the larger lower poly version.. the object is meant to be a tiny ponytail
