I was wondering...as we grow older will we keep at gaming and the internet? Will I still be on this forum at 40? 60? 80? How about you? It'll be strange to have Munro, Stone, Badger etc as the old men...weird.

Dude enjoye your life now, now. Don't think about tomorrow.

:bounce:

Yea dont think about tomorrow or youll overlook today..before you know it youlll fall into a midlife crisis thinking "omg where did life go??? ive been here the whole time but wtf! im 50 now!"

Only focus on today and you will walk into tommorow in a similar way that you might walk into a lamp post you dont see.
You should plan ahead, because that way you can make sure you can live the best life possible.

Anyway, if this site is still here, I will still be here. I have no reason to leave, if Hl2 has the same effect as Hl, then im sure il always visit even if its purely out of nostalgia.

God I hope not.

If I'm still playing HL2 when I'm 60 that would mean that the games of the future really suck.

hl2.net could turn into a general Half Life site, so in 50 years you can visit the site for info about Half Life 7.

I hope to still be here in 5 years time ranting about Half-Life 3's release date :)

nice, timmy :p

and that would be quite a long time to be here. I can imagine my post count when I'm 40. 1,934, 294. What rank would that make me? ;P

I'l give this website a life expectancy of 8 years unless somthing drastic happens.

if the boards are here then i'll make an effort to come on and see what's going on.

hmm...interesting..www.halflife3.net directs you to the VUGames website. does this mean they've already planned a sequel?

yes it has been said before that there will be a sequal, but that was before the hack.

I bet they are annoyed they didnt get halflfie2.net in time. It was a quite a catch this domain.

Oh, and Murray_H that was pretty funny :)

I'd like to think halflife2.net will be here to stay.. :p

I'll still be banning the racists, bigots, and spammers who ignore ONE warning ;)

I'm a lovable bigot like Archie Bunker.

Disclaimer: I am not infact lovable or a bigot, I am just insensitive.

Yeah your right, I always plan for my next thing to do. But I cannot plan for what I am going to do with my next 20 years or so.

Of course I am going to stay here until they change this site to Halflife3.net then I will continue staying here until the release of HalflifeXI.net moahaha.

A toast, to the longlivety of halflife<x>.net!

would u be able too rename the site halflife3.net? w/o losing info

we'll have that domain.. might have some trouble getting it off sierra but we'll get it :p

If this site is still around in 20 years...I'd be disappointed. I'd come back and be like..."augggg....still in 2D? I'm gonna go play some virtual reality games...screw this.."

Yeah but in twenty years the site will be a virtual building, with each forum on a different floor and everybody will walk around it chatting with eachother and your 'avatar' will be what you look like, and every word said is recorded and stored on archives in the virtual basement and we can all fly and walk through walls for ease of transtion and each thread is in a different room and...

Someone already owns halflife4.com but halflife4.net is available.

Halflife5.com is still open! Hurry! Get it while you can.
