This crappy Dell has 512 megs. It also has all it's starting parts (no ATI or Nvidia cards, nothin'), so I have yet to see Half-Life 2 or any other intense pc game in it's true beauty.

That's why I'm building my new one (sig). I know I talk about it everywhere, I'm just so happy (I didn't forget the graphics card(s)<-----(Sli ), I just didn't put it there. You don't need to tell me).

Gee, payback time. I remember that I used to be insufferable when I got my Pentium 166 MHz, I kept bragging about it to everyone I knew (and with 16 megabytes of RAM!!!). Now I see people bragging about their computers left and right.

No, it wont run. It probably won't even install. You need 2 trillion gb of SUPER extreme overclocking ram.
Also, you need a 50 petahertz processor and 500gb of disk space. They dont even make video cards as old as yours anymore, so you might want to look into that.

those 7 case fans would probably generate more heat than they remove and your dvd writer wont be needed to use the internet.

furthermore, the power supply you have is incompatible with hl2.
