Hi, Heres some info, about an excellent looking upcoming RTS, Will of Steel

Eventually, your fight against global terrorism will take you to far lands, from the rigged mountains of Afghanistan, to the vast and blazing deserts of Iraq. On the path that lies ahead, there shall be pain and suffering. The only thing that will keep you going is your father’s legacy. His old combat diary becomes your guardian angel. Had complaints about those pictures and their size, so I've linked to them.

doesnt look to bad, does it have destructable terrain/buildings?

yes, to Buildings, Im not sure about ground though

Graphics aren't that appealing to me...

you should watch the trailer, it looks about 10x better in action!

Does it have a great editor?
Like wc3's?
If it dosn't i doubt it will get that popular.
Onless it has a poorly coded editor like sc's which keeps people very intrested. its been almost 7 year since sc was made and we still keep finding new things because of crappy programming.
(I mean by programming there is 65k players(rounded off), well 1-12 are the main and 1-8 are the human. 13+ are ones that have there own proporities, that we use to think are random but have found a sweet thing, and we still arn't sure what all of them exactly do. For all we know it could certainlly be random)
(Then again there is techncially no such thing as random)

The Wc3 maps keep wc3 alive. Because wc3's editor is by far the best one ive ever laid my eyes upon (for an RTS im saying).

It's like mods for hl. Without mods, hl wouldn't of become the sucess it would be today.

Looks like C&C:Gen w/ some flashy debris effects and more realistic models.

Q4 2004. not confirmed yet, around October - Novemember seems to be the date though

Also I just got confirmation that Ground IS Destructable

Doesnt look like there are that many/original units...of course this is very early on. i hope?

theres still a about 2 -3 months of Dev. Time to go and the pics are about 3-4 weeks old

definitly has potiental, ill keep on eye out for it, thanks for the heads up.

Three letters..

W..T..F..?

That said, the game looks pretty cool. Although, I've never played an RTS that felt as finely crafted as a Blizzard RTS. Here's to hoping this can change

That was simply stating how a poorly coded game can still own even today :).
Blizzard are RTS makers(Not including Blizzard north on here), they should really stick to that instead of WoW or Sc: Ghost(There barley developing Sc:Ghost the co-developer is doing more now)>

But hopefully this game will have a top of the line eidtor.

Actually that said:

I dint think that this was to hard to understand. Thats saying that there are 65536 slots in a sc map. Now only 1-12 are used and 8 are human only. The Rest 65524 are "Unknown" Why? Because starcraft was infact poorly coded. This left those players with unknown results. There was a pattern found. Now there are also 65536 slots for # of units. Now sc only defines around 200. The rest are unknown Each have random effects. From making all units invisible, to making all units invincible, to just making the buildings invisible, to comply stop unit animation. To makeing games 2x the normal speed.
Poorly programmed games arn't bad, its just how bad the game is poorly programmed.

This game can be good nuf to compete vs a game like sc or wc3. It has to have a service like battlenet, thats free has a good channel idea etc. It must have good gameplay as from starcraft u can see graphics dont make the game. It has to have a great editor otherwize in my book it will get no where near a 3/5. Since an great editor allows 1000 types of maps really bringing out the game.

Does anyone have any info on the editor or internet yet?

ok, what does Blizzard Games have to do with Will of Steel

back on topic are you going to use the voice control part of the game?
