A vicous cult guilty of numerous crimes ranging from stalking, pedophilia, child abuse, and breaking up families. They also encourage violence against psycologists and abstaining from medicine.

Srsly, scientology's entrance requirements must be: "You must be a well known person, and must open at least one recruiting centre for our religion before joining :( This sucks
 
Check out this interview with actor and ex-Scifag Jason Beghe, if you haven't seen it already.

While it hardly even touches on the worst crimes of the cult, it does reveal a lot about what they use their celebs for, what a waste of time the CoScientology is, and how much money they screw out of people. Pretty damn entertaining watch, but you'll need to set a bit of time aside.
 
It's like designer drugs. You see all the popular people doing it, and you want to be a part of that - not necessarily the drug itself. That's what I think.

It's the elite celebrity club IMO. Nothing more.

No, it's a humongeous money-making scam that kills people and now the Fresh Prince is sucked into it.

Don't dismiss Scientology out of hand.
