Will there be a Half-Life 3???

Sorry I'm new here and just finished playing Half-Life 2 and both of the Episodes and was wondering if there are any current plans or rumors about another Half-Life game whatsoever? It's probably a dumb question to all of you but it wont be necessary to give me any shit about it. Thanks.

The episodes basically ARE HL3, but spilt into 3 or 4 parts, so you don't need to wait 4 years before they can finish it and you can start playing it.

Capt Midnight, Episode 1 continues right where HL2 left off. Episode 2 is not out yet, but it will continue the game just like Ep1 did. They pretty much are HL3 for now...so why on earth would you try to avoid them???
