Well, will you? I for one have preordered it purely based on the amount of fun co-op and multiplayer Halo has given me over the years !

I'll get a 360 if PD0 turns out to be a classic, otherwise i'll wait to see what game come out.

(btw, has anyone noticed in the Kameo vids it doesn't look like she's walking/running about, but rather sliding along the floor. This is a pet hate of mine, and has almost single handedly put me off buying the game)

I shall not support the evil empire! and almost none of the exclusive games seem that good to me. Kameo is the only one that seems to be any good, and thats not enough to spend $400 on.

Let's see those games A) actually make it out the door at "launch"(a 3 month window, fyi), and B) see if they are any good or if they were just rushed out the door so they can say they have lots of launch titles. Time will tell, but I bet they aren't AAA like you and many others would like.

I might get one in the future when the price comes down, but its what the dev teams can do with the hardware that will decide that.

You've only listed 3 games that you need the console to play, the rest will look and play better on PC, and of the 3 left PD0 so far isn't being recieved too well by gamers and Dead or Alive 4 seems to be the same old game.

Wouldn't count on that. Or if its true, it means your video card probably cost as much as a 360 premium system.

That said, I won't rule out ever getting one, but its gonna take a year at least and a price drop.

The topic was never about which format they were releasing on, so thanks for bringing that redundant point up... it's disputable whether they'll play better on PC, but they sure won't look better. How many times does it need to be hammered into peoples' heads that the X360 will be more powerful than any computer out on release?

Only a few of those are exclusive. And out of all of them the only one that I would consider AAA is PD0, but keep in mind that's only because of the legendary namesake. The way things are going now it's highly possible that it could be a huge disapointment. Oh yeah, Kameo looks interesting but as of now it's hard to say.

In my opinion the XB360 has pretty piss poor launch titles. Hell, even the original X-BOX and PS2 will be releasing better games arond the same time (new ICO game and Black specifically).

I'm with Axyon on this one. How can some people be smart enough to put together and afford a great PC system, but be so mind-boggling stupid as to dismiss consoles so flippantly?

IIRC MS said themselfes that the xbox360 is going to bring consoles and PC topgether, atleast PC's running vista. I think they even mentioned that xbox or pc games would be able to run on both platforms.

Now I could be mistaken.

Anyway, I won't be buying any console. Frankly, none have actually inspired me enough to take the time type in google xbox360 or psx3. I mean. Whats there to get exited about, ms ad sony are basicly offering the same product, albeit one will ne stronger then the other.
Consoles are one platform where you have more freedom when it comes to hardware, to intrudocue new things. MS and Sony have not imporved one bit, on areas where it counts the most. The graphics themslfes don't really exite me, cause todays graphics are enough to bring atmosphere and emotiopn to the screen, all that the nexgen can do is make it look a little prettier, but that will get really old, really soon.

I mean it's unbelievble that people have made so much threads and the media has taken so much notice of so little. What is there to report, I did not even have to read anything about the consoles to know all there is to know about them. My god, Math is more exiting then the presentation of the xbox or ps3.

The only exeption is the revolution, but nintendo has nintendo fans to satisfy, so they will probably **** that up to.

the xbox360 will be capable of graphics superior to PC at the time. the developers for oblivion also said, if you want highest detail for PC, you will need the best rig money can buy at the time it comes out, whereas if you have an xbox360, its at highest detail, nothing toned down.
