Will you Pay monthly to play HL2 mods?

If Valve decided to charge monthly for you to be able to play it's mods online will you pay?

I will pay monthy only if they include new content to justify the monthly fee...

There is no poll on whether to pay or not to pay.. topics on it yes, poll no.. These forums are cluttered with topics that are irrelevant, and searching topics to see who would and wouldn't takes alot longer then just answering a poll for everyone to see at the top in a graph.

You don't need to pay monthly for mods. The mods themselves will be free as long as you buy the multiplayer version of Half Life.

If you buy the game in a store, you don't need to pay monthly.
If you pay monthly, you don't need to buy the game in the store.

There will be three version in store.

1) Single Player Only
2) Single Player and Multiplayer
3) Collecter's Edition (cool bonus stuff)

The second one is the standard one. The first is if you definately don't want to play Half Life 2 only (like, if you don't have a net connexion).

You don't listen.

Nobody has said ANYTHING about CS2 being under the subscription plan. Don't make stuff up then get angry about it.

Team Fortress 2 is not a mod. You won't require Half Life 2 to play it. It won't WORK as a mod. It's a seperate game entirely. You can buy it in the shops, you don't need to have the subscription to play it.

Just act like you normally would've acted.

You'd go to the shop, buy Half Life 2.

A while later, Team Fortress 2 is released. You go to the shop and buy that, if you want it.

If anyone is wondering, head on down to city-17.net, and take a look at their list of mods. You won't have to pay to play any of those, and there are well over a dozen of them. I'm looking forward to Over The Top and The Last Great War particularly.

damn rumors..anyway..if you really like cs or other mods you really will like to pay a price for it since it keeps many imature smacktards away.
if it goes under this subscription thingy, which no one really knows whether it's true, anyways,

on the other hand..there will be room for new mods for which you don'T have to pay..not like "cs and dod are the best mods..i wont play others"
