Ok, I'm estimating around 70,000-80,000 gold packages sold through steam (maybe that a bit high...but meh.) So that means there will be about 14-16 people visitng Valve. Hmm...not as many as I thought.

I think they'd have more bites on the Gold package line by just saying 1/5000 copies of the Gold version will be free/refunded.

Not to mention, it would be cheaper for them to implement...

Of course... with the savings involved, they could bump it up to 1/2500 copies...

By law, they have to give a "no purchase necessary" option and open the contest to postcard senders.

Chances are though, they aren't going to select anyone who sends in a postcard.

Wont you find it funny if all the people who WIN the trip are people who got in contest by just sending a postcard. So that will mean EVERY person who BOUGHT the GOLD VERSION will end up shelling out all that cash so some peeps that dint pay up win the trip Hehe sounds like BS to me.
