win xp restarting! =O

ok, this problem started earlier today, I was talking to some people on MSN and the i went to have lunch, when I came back, my pc had restarted! I thought it was some heat problem but it isn't I guarantee. Just a while ago, I was doing some work outside the house and when I came back, it had restarted again!!! I didn't change any system settings, they're the same as yesterday's, I scanned with antivirus and nothing appeared, my pc is clean, this happened 2 times today, don't know if will happen again...

You probably have your system set to automatic restart on error, as that is what XP defaults to. To fix this, right click on my computer and select properties. Go to the advanced tab, and under startup and recovery, click the settings box. Under system failure, look to see if automatically restart is checked. If it is, uncheck it. If not, your PSU could be mailfuntioning.

that option is unchecked, well, the problem stopped on the second time, maybe its gone... I hope so... thx for the help anyway

if that didnt work it sounds like a powersupply problem.
