Windows Activation Problem

hey there guys im having some trouble when it come to activating my windows pro. i answer all the questions like yes i want to activate windows over the internet and then i register and all that but then it tells me that it cant connect to the windows activation server. Does anyone know what i should do to get this damn windows activated so i dont have to reformat every 30 days. thanks

you can call the windows activaiton number ,faily easy and strait forward to get it done that way. also i found when highspeed isnt working a dialup modem also works

Try again tomorrow?
Make sure your firewall or something isn't blocking it.
If all else fails, just call the number they give you and talk to some call center in India for 5 minutes and they'll give you a new key thing.

Yeah just call them. Their server might also be down for maintenance. Who knows...best bet is to call unless they were taken over by space pirates who took out the server and cut the phone lines to make sure you have to reformat every 30 days.

Its happened before you know.

Assuming your browsers and stuff work, then it could just be your firewall. If your other internet stuff isnt working then you have a networking problem. Easiest thing is to just call.

1.) Check Internet Connection
2.) Check System Time (If it's set to early/late than it won't work. I've had this happen to me before)
3.) Try again later
4.) Call Microsoft Activation yourself.

Do you have the network drivers installed from your motherboard cd?

i activated mine by phone yesterday, it's easy and only takes a few minutes.
