Usually pressing "Prt Scr" takes a screenshot of the desktop and copies it to the clipboard but I've noticed on my new system, it doesn't seem to work anymore.

Anyone have any idea why it might not be working?

I have a dual monitor setup in case that has something to do with it.

hmm, not sure if dual monitors would affect it, but make sure you don't have some sort of 'lock' enabled on your keyboard that makes prt scrn do something different.

also you could use something like hoversnap

http://www.hoverdesk.net/freeware.htm

which basically does the same thing but assigns it to a file.

shell replacements such as litestep can prevent print screen from working also...

Sometimes you have to hold shift or control and press print screen, i think.

Never. Although I've tried using print screen on a dual monitor setup, I've never had problems with it.

well it does something, ive heard enough people talking about it

As it turns out it was a problem with my Prt Scr key. It needed to be pressed harder than the other keys on my kb.
