Windows gave the error message: Access is Denied

Forgive me, as usual, if the question has been asked already, however after a rigourous search I couldn't find anything related. I get this..
Windows gave the error message:
"Access is denied."

When trying to compile a map from within Worldcraft. It took me forever just to get the vbsp tool to even do this instead of giving me the usage message. Could this be a Windows User error? I hope its not, I am the full priviledged user on my machine.. but not the "Administrator", If that makes a difference. So I've been compiling by hand. Fun stuff. Any help is greatly appreciated. -Cosmas

Has it crashed previously? Sometimes if it crashes or freezes and you need to use end task it will leave vbsp or whichever one was running at the time still active in the background, which can cause issues until you end those separately via task manager

Or it could be write protected, or its still being used by another program and so the file has become locked. If no other program is running then again check task manager to see if something is using it that way

It can also happen if your working across a network and haven't given full privalidges

Its never really crashed. Ive crashed hammer before and it was really my fault, too many things running. But all I do is get to the compile process window and halt there.

Maps can take a long time to compile, bigger they are slower they are. Maybe you've set something that tells windows to think its timed out and not responding a lot quicker than it should.. So it appears to be dead and not responding but its still working.
