.. anyway, it's a huge improvement of 10 and library is getting quite nice but it still needs some improvements in most areas, especially the ui, library and actually accessing songs you found using the search box.

there was/is a public beta released slated for.. today [17th], i think, but a build 'leaked' a few days early.

the final version is rumoured to be released sometime in june but noone really knows yet.

Yeah, really. Personally, I've been using it for forever, and I love it. But you can use whatever the hell you want to- even if it hogs resources and only plays select filetypes...

QFT I use wmp while playing CSS. It's fast and decent enough for what I want to do. The new beta is very cool and looks beautiful. Aero will just make it look perfect.

Definately getting Vista.

You guys have to understand that IE7 WM11 are just betas, they're out here just for testing, and they're full of bugs and flaws, nor are they supported by Microsoft Support, and only Downloaded at tester's own risk. I wouldn't recommend them now to you to use them unless testing, specially not if you only have one PC, and specially if you store personal info.

Ok update on the media player thing. Seems that randomly during playback, my keyboard becomes insanely unresponsive, and mouse totally unresponsive for periods of up to 6 seconds. It gets worse as it goes on. Not good for ownage sessions, no siree.

I started using the alpha when it was first leaked and I am quite impressed.

The new organization features work perfectly even for large collections of music (along with the search). I can easily find and update album information and art. The tabs make it easy to use and all the ripping and sync options work as good as in MP10 or better.

Plus on top of all the useful changes it looks great! and I have had no crashes or problems of any sort so far (5 days of heavy use).

-Extract installer (mpsetup.exe) using winrar or whatever else you use
-run wmp11.exe in folder (not setup_wm.exe)
-restart your pc,
