Windows x64 K8VSE Dlx Trouble

Anyone put windows x64 onto there computer with a K8VSE Deluxe?! And actually managed to get the sound working?
It says its a VIA AC'97, but its a soundmax blah blah it says it works, but it doesn't let out sound.

Don't try the beta of Win 64. There will be a lot of driver related problems on it since it is only a beta.

But the thing is people have been sucessful with it, and it runs amazingly. I just need a sound driver

Did you try getting the drivers off of the sound card maker's website?

I bet he is using the onboard sound and in that case visit the ASUS site and see if they have an update or bios flash for the 64 bit OS for your card.

Like others said, the 64-bit beta isn't really meant for normal use. It's meant for people to tinker around with on either a dual-boot system (XP and XP64) or an extra system not for normal use.

I tried the asus drivers, and I tried from the website itself. Asus aren't supporting 64bit XP yet. But ViA are, which is a bit of a help. And so you know I got it fixed.
