Thanks for the compliment, yeah, at first I drew out the entire thing, the background..etc, then the dunes and towers, then the character and just kept working on the lighting...and some texturing details untill now.

Katl, you sticking with the night one or the lighter one because personally, I prefer the first, even though the night gives it more effect.

You can use thumbnails if you use Imageshack.us, after you upload, they give like a while listing of diffrent links to the image, I belive one of them is to thumnails...here, ill try it for this to show some detailed spots:

Really nice work there. Someone should make an animate gif that fades slowly from one to the other...and the guy just keeps on standing there, day and night...

I love both the forst image and the collection of sand ones. The 7 hour war picture is excellent, i love the utterly hopeless feeling it protrays. The light and shade on the sand one is great, too

I must say I really like the green in the sky. Really helps the atmosphere and suits the concept. The only real crtisicm I have is the right hand. It looks incomplete, but again, it is a work in progress. Otherwise it's awsome.
